Life is short..

Friday afternoon, my friend’s sister died. I knew her also. She died right after surgery. She just never woke up. A week or so previous I was talking to her about how she was happy he was stayin home for college because they were so close and she loved that she’d see him a lot. And now, she’s gone. I can’t even imagine what he’s going through right now, but I do know he has the BEST of friends that are going to be there for him. His best friend lost his mom about 5 years ago and he was there for him. This is just so unfathomable. My heart just goes out to him so much right now, and i felt the need to write out a blog.

So don’t take life for granted. I know its a cliche but i’m serious. Don’t take anything for granted. Not your home, or parent or sibling or pet or anything, because it can be taken at any moment. Tell everyone you love that you do love them ever chance you get, and don’t leave arguments in the air. Take care of them as soon as possible. Because life is short…

so life….

life has gotten better and worse in some aspects.  in school its my senior year so i’m so excited. and i am just so ready to not be in school anymore.  but the school will not let us out of AP.  i’m so mad about this its not funny.  we have a meeting with the administrators next tuesday and hopefully something will get worked out.  everyone is failing calculus. EVERYONE.  at this point im so tired of it and we’ve had 2 weeks of it

TWO WEEKS.

anyways and like AH theres so much going on.  i can’t like even type it all.  its ridiculous.  maybe i’ll do it later.  its late and i wanna sleep.

so i lied again.

hahah i still havent started the photo of the day. i really am going to start soon i really do promise in less than a month i will start it i know no one reads this but still i will!

from under the blanket looking back

so this is my last night before my last first day of school. yes i know i still have college but thats different.  This is the last year i’m a “kid”  my senior year of highschool. There’s a lot going through my mind right now.  I still havent finished my summer reading, but that isn’t due until next week, but it’s in the back of my mind.  This time next year i’ll be Bloging from college, hopefully New York.  And no not NYC.

All my years through school have definately been a roller coaster and i could not have made it through without my best friend whos been there since kindergarten.  I also couldn’t of made it without mom who, with endless money supply and creative ambission got me through all the late nights and long weekends working on diarama after book report after poster.  I just want to say thank you. 
Thanks for doing everything, despite my antics, to help me succeed and be where I am today. I know i’m not the BEST daughter and i do not deserve you but i love you and thank you all the same.

so as i’m sitting up on my bed under the blanket, thinking about tomorrow, all i can say is goodbye highschool, because we all know i’ll come down with senioritis tomorrow.

so catching everyone up.

i have no idea when is the last time i bloged and im really too lazy to goo and look so i’m just going to start with my birthday last week and work my way to today!  So my birthday was going to be this amazing luau down by the pond near my house.  i bought all the decorations and everything and had a good number of people RSVPed to go.  well day before it downpours and thunder and lightning and tornado warning.  woo hoo.  so i decide to cancel it other than the people who were going to sleep over.  the day of my party was in short, stressful.  i had to food shop, clean , decorate, get myself showered and ready, and make the food all before 4 and of course i woke up at near 12.  i went to walmart (the source of all evil) and spent almost my entire budget.  got home cleaned, showered, and frantically set up and decorated a cake.  i then learned that half of my cookies that i had made were gone because my dad decided to dip in.  how fun.  so then once the couple of people that were coming got here i learned that my friend who was bringing my game didnt.  so thenn we just decided to eat, open presents, eat, swim, eat and watch movies.  the next day was the fun part. 
the next day was my actual birthday and we went to the zoo!  i know, turning 17 and i go to the zoo.  well it was fun.  i took about a milion pictures i jsut finished going through and took video but haha of course havent made the video yet.  it will come tho, even if its in like october.
that brings us to this week.. as some of you know i was supposed to go to “soulfest” in NH.  but long story short, well i didnt go.  i would still be there if i did.  so now i was like well i have the entire week of from BOTH my jobs.  first day i slept in and met with some people who i’m making a website for.  then i hung around worked on the website and such.  wednesday i started workin on the page again but got a call from my friend christina.  she wanted to go to the beach.  i said “christina you realize its about 4 or 5 now right?” shes like “yeahh but we’re goin to the beach for a fire” haha stupid me.  so i took another like 50 pictures at the beach and slept over her house.  the next day we went to the library in the morning aand then were supposed to drop her at work the i was gonna walk back to her house but it didnt happen.  she got called out so she didnt have to work, so we walked around the campus thats right there for about 2 hours and headed back to her house.  we called my dad and he wasn’t going to be home until late sooo.  i slept over again.  haha. then finally on friday i came home and was thinking about what to do. mom and my brothers were still at summer camp and dad was at work for the night.
letterboxing.  if you dont know what that is you need to google it all one word letterboxing.  click on the first link, go to FAQ and learn then come back here………………………looked?  good. now that you know what it is let me tell you.  last time i went, the box was missing so we didnt get to stamp.  i know sad.  so i got my neighbor and was like “we;re going to the state park and letterboxing.  shes like huuhh?  and im like its ok jsut come to my house when i get home.  i got all my goods at the store and we headed off.  we ended up finding 3 in under 2 and a half hours.  so we went home. 
this morning, i get up and call her.  she wants to go again.  so i printed out clues for another 7 and we planned to make a day of it.  we got to the park around 1130 and walked all the way to the end.  we started there and found the first one.  goood start.  we go to find the second one.  box is stolen.  3rd, cant find it, 4th cant find it.  5th YAY found it, easy find.  6th was all the way in the back of the park again so we didnt even try.  the last one was fun to find and there was an amazing view from where we were.  so all in all i have 6 from the past 2 days.  even after dropping the clues yesterday and having to backtrack a few times today.  i think that everyone needs to get into letterboxing.

so i got my camera last night and my plan is to have the first photo of the day up tonight.  thats right it will be starting on july 18, 2008 and end i dont even know.  i was THINKING about waiting until my birthday but i dont know.  if you have any ideas or comments on it leave it in the commentss. i know no one reads this so i’ll get no input haha

i recently stumbleuponed a blog.  this blog described a man who took a picture every day.  this picture could have signifigance to him or something in the world that happened that day.  the pictures went form march of 1979 to october of 1997, when he passed away.  this inspired me. i am purchasing a DSLR in a week and after that i will be doing this.  from July 20something till i hope the day i die i will take apicture every day.  i will post them here as often as i think of it.  maybe i’ll post a whole weeks worth on one day or make a short post everyday and put the picture in.  either way you’ll have access to all of them.  any ideas? comment!
